Code of Ethics
In May 2023, POWERCHINA Brasil issued its Code of Ethics, following the same principles, values and concepts of the Code of Ethics of the
parent company, POWERCHINA International Group Limited.
The Code of Ethics describes the principles and fundamental values that should govern the behavior of employees of POWERCHINA group
companies operating in Brazil. It represents the guide for our relationship with our business partners and the affected communities.
The Code of Ethics is supported by other specific policies and procedures, which will be progressively disclosed in accordance with the
implementation schedule of the Compliance System.
You can read our Code of Ethics next to it. Feel free to download and bring the Code to your desktop.
Channel of Ethics
To reinforce its commitment to compliance and ethics, POWERCHINA provides an Ethics Channel for complaints, suggestions and doubts.
The Ethics Channel is a secure and confidential means of communication: you only identify yourself if you wish. It is hosted by an
independent specialized company, Contato Seguro, which was hired to ensure the impartiality and confidentiality of the process. The Ethics
Channel may receive complaints in writing on the website or through its application, or through a recorded message on 0800 800 1061.
You can access the channel using the address: www.contatoseguro.com.br/powerchina.
The Ethics Channel is available to all employees of the group, as well as partners and communities affected by POWERCHINA’s business in
Brazil.
In June 2023, the channel will also be available in the English and Chinese languages.

Compliance
The word compliance, from the English verb “to comply”, means to agree, to commit and to be subject to a rule orrequirement. In this sense, the noun compliance can be understood as conformity.
Over the years, the term was appropriated by the corporate world, having its meaning expanded: it became a set of disciplines and practices aimed at complying with the rules of an institution, seeking to investigate, avoid and resolve any deviation, risk or otherwise conformity.
These norms can be the law at different levels (federal, state, municipal) and spheres (labor, environmental, accounting, legal,etc.). The standards mainly refer to the internal regulations imposed by the organization itself with the aim of maintain ingethical principles and behavior.
Code of Ethics
POWERCHINA is in the process of implementing the Compliance System. The implementation strategy is progressive, as shown in the chart.
The Compliance System starts with the Code of Ethics. It presents the values and fundamentals of the Compliance System.

ESG
A ESG stands for “Environmental, Social and Governance” and can be considered a subset of sustainability, which is definedby the UN World Commission on Environment and Development as ‘meeting the needs of present generations without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs’. It can be described as a set of practices (policies, procedures, metrics, etc.) that organizations implement to limit negative impact or enhance positive impact on the environment, society, and governance bodies. It can also be understood as a set of non-financial measures that reflect a corporation’s impact on the environment and society.

The Compliance System of POWERCHINA International Group Limited do Brasil follows the same policies of the headquarter:POWERCHINA International Group Limited. The System is structured in 4 dimensions or regulations, as shown in the chartabove:
